Description
Lampascioni are wild onion bulbs with a bitter taste and represent a true Apulian typicality. Rich in beneficial nutritional properties, they can accompany many traditional dishes and are always present on the festive table. The preservation of lampascioni in oil is widely used because it allows you to appreciate their goodness and fragrance throughout the year. The bulbs are cleaned and a short incision is made at their base. Then, they are blanched in water and vinegar until they reach a tender consistency and then they are covered with extra virgin olive oil.
